About the role#
The Performance Nutrition Assistant supports the University of Wyoming Athletics’ Olympic and Football Dietitians. This role focuses on athlete fueling and provides practical experience for students interested in sports dietetics or medical and athletics-related fields. You will work directly with student athletes in the High Altitude Performance Center.
What you'll do#
- Manage the daily upkeep of the Fueling Station, including opening, closing, stocking, and cleaning.
- Assist with nutrition-related projects for various teams.
- Interact regularly with student athletes to support their performance goals.
- Help with nutrition activities during gamedays.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student at the University of Wyoming.
- Eligibility for and receipt of a work study award through Student Financial Aid.
- Strong communication skills.
- A reliable and punctual approach to your work.
- Strong organizational habits.
- Relevant academic background in Nutrition or Kinesiology is preferred.
Location & details#
- This position is located on-site in Laramie, Wyoming, at the High Altitude Performance Center.
- This is a part-time, paid role with a wage of $12.00 per hour.
- The term is rolling.
