About the role#
The Ellbogen Center for Teaching and Learning at the University of Wyoming is hiring a Work Study Office Aide. This part-time position provides administrative support to center staff and helps with daily office operations. You will gain experience in professional office environments and career readiness skills.
What you'll do#
- Provide administrative and office support, including making copies and organizing materials.
- Assist with learning community preparation and event logistics.
- Create and distribute program materials like flyers, handouts, and posters.
- Prepare visual and written content for social media and website updates.
- Support front desk operations by greeting students, faculty, staff, and visitors.
What you'll need#
- A High School diploma or equivalent.
- Eligibility for a work study award through Student Financial Aid, with the award already accepted.
- Strong interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn new procedures.
- No prior experience is required, as training will be provided.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site position located at the Coe Library on the University of Wyoming campus in Laramie, Wyoming.
- The pay rate is $12 per hour.
- This is a part-time role with rolling terms.
