About the role#
The Campus Recreation department at the University of Wyoming is hiring a Facility Employee to work at Half Acre Gym. This position focuses on maintaining a safe and clean environment for students, faculty, and staff. You will earn $12 per hour in this part-time role.
What you'll do#
- Provide customer service to facility patrons.
- Monitor the main workout area to ensure user safety.
- Enforce facility policies and check out day-use equipment.
- Clean equipment and facility spaces while restocking supplies as needed.
- Assist with towel service and daily operational tasks.
- Communicate effectively with other recreation staff.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a University of Wyoming student.
- A High School diploma or GED.
- Eligibility for a work study award, with the award already received and accepted through Student Financial Aid for the academic year.
- A self-motivated and energetic approach to work.
- A willingness to work in a team environment.
- Previous experience in customer service or the recreation industry is preferred.
