About the role#
The Research Intern provides technical support to the plant breeding program at the Sheridan Research and Extension Center. This is a full-time, paid position based on-site.
What you'll do#
- Oversee greenhouse production of field peas.
- Assist with field data collection.
- Participate in cross-pollination activities.
- Support the harvesting and threshing process.
- Perform seed counting following harvest.
What you'll need#
- High School Diploma.
- Technical support skills.
- Experience in plant breeding or a related field.
- Ability to oversee greenhouse production and conduct field data collection.
