About the role#
The University of Wyoming is seeking a Research Intern to provide technical support to the plant breeding program at the Sheridan Research and Extension Center. This is a full-time, paid position that requires on-site work.
What you'll do#
- Oversee greenhouse production of field peas.
- Assist with field data collection.
- Participate in cross pollination activities.
- Support harvesting and threshing processes.
- Count seeds following the harvest.
What you'll need#
- High School Diploma.
- Technical support skills.
- Experience in plant breeding or a related field.
- Ability to oversee greenhouse production.
- Experience with field data collection.
- Relevant academic background in Agriculture, Biology, Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, Biomedical Sciences, Kinesiology, Nursing, or Public Health.
