About the role#
The University of Wyoming Foundation is seeking a website intern to join the Marketing and Communications team. This role focuses on maintaining and enhancing the foundation's online presence through user-centric design and development. You will work on front-end tasks, implement content strategies, and contribute to the digital experience for a diverse audience including donors, alumni, and university leadership.
What you'll do#
- Create and maintain web pages using Webflow and other development tools.
- Optimize existing pages to improve design, performance, and user experience.
- Collaborate with content creators to present materials effectively online.
- Conduct research on web design best practices, accessibility standards, and user experience.
- Assist with testing, debugging, and documenting website features.
- Use AI tools to brainstorm design concepts and support code development.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student at the University of Wyoming.
- Understanding of web design principles and user experience.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript.
- Preferred qualifications include knowledge of web accessibility standards, responsive design, and experience with content management systems or Git.
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently with strong attention to detail.

- This position is based on-site in Laramie, Wyoming.
- This is a paid, full-time internship with a rolling application term.
