About the role#
The Event Technology Intern supports the operation of event technology, including audio systems, video boards, and specialized equipment. This role involves maintaining equipment and completing technology projects within athletic facilities such as War Memorial Stadium and the Arena Auditorium. This is a paid, on-site position.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the setup, breakdown, and operation of event technology.
- Maintain equipment and support ongoing technology projects.
- Staff various events, including athletic camps, concerts, private rentals, and athletic competitions such as football, basketball, and track and field.
- Perform manual labor, including lifting, walking stairs and ramps, and standing for extended periods.
- Work in various weather conditions during outdoor events.
What you'll need#
- Must be a full-time student currently enrolled at the University of Wyoming.
- Possess a valid driver's license with a motor vehicle record compliant with University Business SAP.
- Ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues.
- Ability to learn new skills, follow directions, and make quick decisions.
- Ability to work in a team setting.
- Availability to work nights and weekends.
