About the role#
The BI Digital Webmaster leads digital publishing operations for Student Media. This role manages online platforms, social media channels, and multimedia content to maximize audience engagement and user experience. The position oversees digital content strategy, website management, analytics, and cross-platform publishing while collaborating with editorial and broadcast teams to ensure the delivery of student-produced content.
What you'll do#
- Manage digital publishing platforms including Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram.
- Oversee website updates, digital formatting, and user experience management.
- Monitor audience analytics, engagement trends, SEO, and digital growth metrics.
- Coordinate the scheduling and publication of digital content.
- Integrate multimedia such as video, livestreams, graphics, and interactive content.
- Collaborate with editorial and broadcast teams to optimize content for online audiences.
- Serve as a contact person for the Communication and Journalism Department.
- Attend weekly meetings with the supervisor and student staff.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a University of Wyoming student with a minimum 2.5 GPA.
- Experience with website content management systems and digital publishing platforms.
- Knowledge of digital content strategy, social media best practices, and audience engagement techniques.
- Basic understanding of SEO, web analytics, and digital performance metrics.
- Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work collaboratively with students, staff, and faculty.
- Preferred majors include Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Media Studies, Graphic Design, or Business Administration.

- Location: Laramie, Wyoming.
- Modality: On-site.
- Term: Summer 2026.
- Start Date: August 24, 2026.
- Commitment: Minimum 20 hours per week, with at least 10 hours scheduled between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
