Suit-A-Bull Graduate Student Intern

About the role#

The Suit-A-Bull Graduate Student Intern supports the university's on-campus career closet within the Center for Career and Professional Development. This role helps students prepare for interviews, career fairs, and other professional events by providing access to business attire. The intern gains hands-on experience in student services, retail management, and program coordination while contributing to the career readiness of the student body.

What you'll do#

• Manage daily operations, including handling walk-in traffic and maintaining a clean, welcoming space.
• Provide individualized support to students by offering guidance on professional attire selections.
• Execute outreach and marketing initiatives to increase program awareness among students and donors.
• Oversee the donation process, including collecting, reviewing, tracking, and organizing inventory.
• Maintain accurate records of student usage and program data.
• Collaborate with staff to evaluate and improve program effectiveness.
• Assist with additional projects within the Center for Career and Professional Development.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a USF graduate program.
• Interest in career development, personal branding, or professional image.
• Experience in customer service, retail, event planning, or student engagement.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic data tracking tools.
• Ability to communicate professionally with students, donors, and team members.

Location & details#

• Location: Tampa, Florida (On-site).
• Term: Beginning Fall 2026, with a preference for candidates who can commit through Spring 2028.
• Hours: 15 to 20 hours per week, scheduled between Monday and Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
• Compensation: This is a paid internship.
• Academic focus: Open to students in Business Administration, Marketing, Sociology, Psychology, or Communications.
