About the role#
The Student Assistant for Student Accessibility Services supports the daily operations of the office by providing service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors. This position helps maintain an inclusive campus environment through front desk support and test proctoring.
What you'll do#
- Greet and assist visitors entering the Student Accessibility Services office.
- Support students with scheduling and testing needs, including proctoring and troubleshooting accessibility requirements.
- Create and distribute informational materials, such as announcements and flyers.
- Assist with general front desk responsibilities and other duties as assigned by supervisors.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a University of South Florida student, taking at least half-time credit-earning courses.
- Ability to provide service to students, faculty, and staff.
- Skills in communication, organization, and basic office technology.
- Relevant academic background in Psychology, Communications, Human Resources, or Sociology is preferred.
