About the role#
The Athletics Sports Nutrition department at the University of South Florida is seeking a Student Assistant for the Fall 2026 semester. This position is open to current students who have been awarded Federal Work Study (FWS) and will support the nutrition needs of football and basketball teams.
What you'll do#
- Maintain and clean Sports Nutrition fueling stations.
- Manage inventory levels.
- Support snack distribution and hydration protocols for assigned teams.
- Assist with travel preparations for athletics teams.
- Collect and organize data as required.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current enrollment as a USF student with a Federal Work Study award (must provide class schedule and award allotment).
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Preference given to students pursuing a career in nutrition, health, or exercise sciences.
