About the role#
The College of Behavioral and Community Sciences Dean’s Office is seeking a Federal Work-Study Student Assistant to provide administrative and operational support. This role involves maintaining daily office functions, assisting staff and visitors, and contributing to various departmental projects in a professional environment.
What you'll do#
- Sort and distribute mail, and handle the receipt and delivery of packages.
- Maintain office equipment, supplies, and common workspaces.
- Run campus errands using a golf cart, with training provided as needed.
- Assist with document shredding, recycling, and routine office upkeep.
- Support departmental initiatives, including organizing digital files, preparing correspondence, and managing technology inventory.
What you'll need#
- Must have been awarded Federal Work-Study for the 2026 – 2027 school year.
- Strong organizational abilities and basic computer skills.
- Professional demeanor with a willingness to learn new skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Preference for students pursuing degrees in Business Administration, Psychology, Communications, or Human Resources.
