About the role#
Twelve is looking for a Production Intern to gain hands-on experience in the operational delivery of merchandising programs. You will work with the Production Manager and internal teams to support the lifecycle of client accounts, from the initial brief to final delivery. This role is for someone who wants to understand how creative product ideas move through production to become finished programs.
What you'll do#
- Maintain project trackers, account documents, purchase order records, meeting notes, and process documentation.
- Gather updates from internal teams and suppliers to create status reports.
- Track open actions and flag delays, missing information, or changes.
- Assist with purchase order conversion and supplier handoff.
- Follow up with factories on production status, dates, sample progress, and milestones.
- Update critical path documents for sampling, approvals, production, QA/QC, compliance, shipping, and invoicing.
- Coordinate pre-production samples by tracking submissions, approvals, revisions, and dispatch.
- Organize sample records, production photos, feedback, range boards, and project folders.
- Ensure files are accurate and easy for the team to reference.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit or recent completion of a degree in production, supply chain, operations, merchandising, business, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage details, timelines, and follow-ups across multiple projects.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Confidence asking questions and seeking clarification.
- High attention to detail regarding quantities, dates, costs, and documentation.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and a genuine interest in production or merchandising.
- Experience with NetSuite, client portals, or project management tools is a plus.

- This is an on-site role based in Brooklyn, New York.
- The position is paid at $22 per hour.
- This is an internship role.
