About the role#
TTX Company is hiring a Process Engineering Intern to join our team in Jurupa Valley. This full-time internship focuses on improving operational efficiency and applying engineering principles to real-world rail transportation challenges. You will work in a hybrid environment to analyze data, lead project teams, and implement process improvements.
What you'll do#
- Review existing processes to find ways to increase efficiency.
- Identify root causes of problems and build actionable solutions.
- Create and implement improvement plans using lean manufacturing or 5S kaizen principles.
- Analyze data to spot trends and areas for growth.
- Lead cross-functional teams to meet project objectives.
- Track progress toward goals and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a degree program for Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering.
- A working knowledge of quality control systems and process improvement methods.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analytics tools like Excel.
- Clear communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks at once.

- This is a paid, full-time internship.
- You may be required to travel as part of this role.
- The work environment is primarily an office setting, requiring the ability to sit for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 10 pounds.
