About the role#
This is a full-time, paid Mechanical Engineering internship for Summer 2027. You will work on-site at our Syracuse, New York facility. This role involves direct engagement with production, process improvement, and yield enhancement tasks.
What you'll do#
- Support various engineering product and process projects.
- Run qualification experiments and document the results as defined by Process Engineers.
- Assist with data formatting and the generation of data sheets.
- Help conduct failure analysis and perform statistical classification of failures.
- Comply with all export control policies, including ITAR and EAR regulations.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Strong documentation and procedure writing skills.
- Experience with structured problem solving and statistical data analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Skills in Visual Basic and general code writing.
- Ability to multitask and communicate effectively.
- Previous experience with Mechanical Engineering concepts.
