About the role#
The Insights Summer Associate role is a 9-week, full-time internship within our Primary Market Research practice. You will work alongside our staff and leadership to provide research-based solutions for clients in the life sciences industry. This program includes formal and informal training, along with mentorship to help you build your analytical and research skills.
What you'll do#
- Draft research materials including screeners, discussion guides, stimuli, and surveys.
- Support field work and the recruiting process for research respondents.
- Analyze qualitative and quantitative data from primary market research.
- Help identify takeaways and implications for clients based on your findings.
- Build visual PowerPoint presentations to communicate study results.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, sciences, social sciences, mathematics, statistics, engineering, or public health.
- You are a rising senior or a student with one year remaining in your studies.
- 0-2 years of experience in consulting, primary market research, or the life sciences industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site position based in Waltham, Massachusetts.
- The program runs from June 14 to August 13, 2027.
- This is a paid position at $35 per hour for 40 hours per week.
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
