About the role#
This is a part-time student or assistant position within the respiratory therapy department. The role focuses on ensuring that respiratory equipment and supplies are organized and available throughout the hospital.
What you'll do#
- Check portable oxygen tanks on each hospital unit.
- Order, clean, and stock supplies for the respiratory therapy department.
- Maintain respiratory supply levels in the CCU and CVU.
- Organize the oxygen shed.
- Keep the oxygen room on Xavier 2 clean and orderly.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current enrollment in a Respiratory Therapist program is strongly preferred.
- Previous experience in a hospital or physician office is preferred.
Location & details#
- Location: Saint Mary's Hospital, Waterbury, Connecticut.
- Work modality: On-site.
- Employment type: Part-time, per diem.
- Compensation: $17 to $20 per hour, based on experience, skills, and education. Shift and weekend differentials apply.
