About the role#
Trilogy is seeking a Level 2 Occupational Therapy Intern to provide clinical services to adults managing mental health diagnoses and co-occurring substance abuse disorders. This position focuses on supporting clients in their transition to independent living through strengths-based, client-centered, and trauma-informed care.
What you'll do#
- Administer occupational therapy assessments to evaluate functional status, activities of daily living, fine motor coordination, and adaptive equipment needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with clear, achievable functional goals.
- Provide interventions and skill-building sessions to support client independence.
- Document assessment outcomes and maintain accurate, timely departmental records.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, primary care physicians, case managers, and therapists.
- Participate in weekly supervision, agency-wide training, and required academic fieldwork objectives.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Occupational Therapy Master’s or Doctorate program.
- Reliable, daily transportation for community-based client visits.
- For capstone students: Previous completion of a Level 2 Fieldwork at Trilogy.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field is preferred.
