The Bilingual Clinical Case Management Intern will provide clinical support to youth, young adults, and families within the Child & Adolescent Services department. This role involves working across several specialty programs, including outpatient therapy, the Mental Health Juvenile Justice Program, and the First Episode Psychosis program. The intern will engage with clients in various settings, including the office, schools, homes, and court systems.
What you'll do#
- Provide comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments for youth, adults, and their families.
- Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, providers, and natural supports.
- Facilitate recommended services such as counseling, family psychoeducation, and linkage to entitlements.
- Conduct outreach and engagement for at-risk youth and individuals experiencing their first episode of psychosis.
- Advocate for client needs and assist them in identifying coping skills to manage symptoms and stressors.
- Accompany clients to community appointments related to medical, psychiatric, housing, or financial needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation and charts in compliance with Medicaid, CARF, and agency standards.
What you'll need#
- Completed Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling.
- Fluency in Spanish is required.
- Experience working with youth, young adults, and their families.
- Daily access to a well-maintained vehicle.
- Must pass the IM+CANS exam within one month of the start date.
- Ability to work evenings and attend weekly team meetings and biweekly clinical consultation groups.

- Term: Full-time internship beginning August 2026 through May 2027.
- Modality: On-site.
