About the role#
Travelers is hiring a Legal Intern for a full-time summer position. This role provides hands-on experience in the insurance industry and offers exposure to legal work within our Staff Counsel office. You will receive mentorship and substantive feedback on your assignments throughout the program.
What you'll do#
- Conduct legal research and prepare discovery.
- Draft briefs and motions.
- Observe proceedings in various courts.
- Attend depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials or hearings.
- Collaborate with Travelers Staff Counsel attorneys, support staff, and business partners.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited law school.
- Authorization to work for any employer in the U.S. (sponsorship is not provided for this role).

- Location: Orange, California.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Term: Summer 2027 (June to August).
- Status: Paid, full-time internship.
