About the role#
This is a full-time, paid summer internship for law students. You will work with Travelers Staff Counsel attorneys, support staff, and business partners throughout the summer of 2027. The program provides hands-on experience and substantive feedback on all assignments.
What you'll do#
- Conduct legal research and prepare discovery documents.
- Draft briefs and motions.
- Observe proceedings in various courts.
- Attend depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
- Participate in hearings and court appearances.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited law school.
- Ability to work on-site for the duration of the internship.
- Authorization to work for any employer in the United States, as we do not provide sponsorship for this role.

- Location: Walnut Creek, California.
- Term: Summer 2027 (June to August).
