About the role#
The Business Insights & Analytics Leadership Development Program (BI&A LDP) Geospatial internship is a 10-week program for students interested in data and analytics. You will work on real projects that support active business needs. This is a hands-on role where you will solve business problems and receive professional feedback. You will work alongside a cohort of peers and receive technical training from current program participants.
What you'll do#
- Perform project work across analytics functions.
- Use modern analytical and artificial intelligence tools.
- Develop and present solutions to business challenges during a capstone presentation.
- Participate in technical training sessions.
- Engage in company-wide events, such as the Intern Symposium and community outreach initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing or obtained a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Computer Science, or Geography.
- Exposure to ESRI ArcGIS Pro and other GIS mapping software.
- Proficiency with Python.
- Experience with spatial statistics, including map projects and coordinate system variations.
- Understanding of data warehouses and ETL processes using Python, SQL, or Snowflake.

- Locations: Hartford, Connecticut, or St. Paul, Minnesota.
- Term: Summer 2027 (June through early August).
- Modality: On-site.
