About the role#
As a Software Engineering Intern at TRACTIAN, you will work with our engineering team to support the development and enhancement of features across our web and mobile applications. This role offers hands-on experience with our product functionality and development practices. You will contribute to solutions that are user-centric and technologically sound while gaining exposure to real-world software development cycles.
What you'll do#
- Build and improve components for our web and mobile applications.
- Collaborate on machine-learning pipelines, model integration, and real-time inference systems.
- Write, test, and review clean, maintainable code using modern frameworks.
- Help develop APIs and automation tools to enhance predictive maintenance capabilities.
- Troubleshoot software issues to support system scalability, speed, and accuracy.
- Document code, APIs, and integrations for future team use.
- Work with cross-functional teams, including hardware and firmware, to support system interoperability.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Go, or C++.
- Exposure to web frameworks like React, Node.js, Flask, or FastAPI.
- A genuine interest in AI, machine learning, and IoT-driven data systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
