About the role#
As a Generative AI Engineering Intern, you will work with our team to build and improve applications powered by large language models. The role focuses on backend engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and API integration. You will contribute to the testing, scalability, and reliability of our AI systems.
What you'll do#
- Build backend components that connect LLMs with data sources and APIs.
- Implement and improve retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) workflows.
- Write tests, debug failures, and improve application performance.
- Collaborate with product and software teams to support system monitoring, deployment, and integration.
What you'll need#
- You are pursuing or have recently completed a bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong programming skills and experience building or debugging backend applications using databases, APIs, and Git.
- A working LLM project you can explain, including your specific contributions, technical decisions, and testing approach.
- An understanding of RAG and how to connect language models with external data.
- Experience with TypeScript, Go, vector databases, PyTorch, Docker, or cloud deployment is helpful. Familiarity with LLM inference or model optimization is a plus.
