About the role#
The Data & Analytics Intern will assist in designing, building, and testing data platforms and analytics solutions. You will work with our team to prepare trusted data for AI-enabled applications and help generate actionable insights for our customers. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Irvine, California.
What you'll do#
- Partner with the Data & Analytics Team to determine approaches to data ingestion, structure, storage, and quality.
- Implement and validate data solutions.
- Contribute ideas on how to make customer data more valuable.
- Work with the Engineering Team to implement technical solutions.
- Use AI-assisted development tools to support SQL, Python, testing, and documentation.
- Validate AI-assisted development outputs while protecting customer data.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in the Junior or Senior year of an undergraduate program or a master’s program in Computer Science, Data Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or Statistics.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better.
- Academic or professional experience working in a professional setting.
- Foundational knowledge of SQL or Python.
- Knowledge of data transformation, data modeling, or data visualization.
- Exposure to cloud data platforms, notebooks, Git-based version control, or APIs.
- Interest in AI-enabled analytics and familiarity with data quality, metadata, privacy, and the responsible use of AI tools.
- Ability to work independently, accept direction, and solve technical problems with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
- Availability to work 40 hours per week.
