About the role#
This internship provides hands-on exposure to the radio broadcasting and digital media industry. You will gain experience by observing daily operations across our radio stations and digital platforms. This program offers a behind-the-scenes look at how a media company manages broadcast, digital marketing, promotions, and sales. It is designed to help you build practical skills and industry knowledge.
What you'll do#
- Observe daily operations across radio broadcasting and digital media teams.
- Learn how traditional, non-traditional, and digital marketing solutions are developed and executed.
- Gain exposure to content creation, promotions, advertising, and digital platforms.
- Assist with various department projects and initiatives as appropriate.
- Develop an understanding of how media campaigns are planned, launched, and evaluated.
- Network with media professionals to gain career insights.
What you'll need#
- Strong interest in radio broadcasting, digital media, marketing, or communications.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be a resident of New York State or attending school in New York State.
- Must be a first-time participant in the Townsquare Media internship program.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a professional environment.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.

- Location: Albany, New York.
- Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $16 per hour.
- Schedule: 10 to 20 hours per week, with specific hours agreed upon to accommodate academic commitments.
- Term: Rolling availability.
