UPS Field Service Electrical Engineering Intern

About the role#

The UPS Field Service Electrical Engineering Intern will support the UPS Field Service team at Toshiba International Corporation. This role involves reviewing and updating product startup check sheets, procedures, and related technical documentation. You will also assist the RA team in planning and implementing procedures for returning failed power modules for the 3000SP series and provide support to the FWT during unit installations.

What you'll do#

• Gain hands-on engineering experience on electrical engineering projects.
• Collaborate directly with engineers and professionals in a team environment to understand how engineering projects are delivered.
• Develop technical skills under the supervision and guidance of experienced professionals.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in an Electrical Engineering program at an accredited college or university.
• Background in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with programming skills.
• Strong interest in electrical and design verification.
• Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently.
• Ability to work well as a team player in a culturally diverse environment.

• Location: Northwest Houston, TX (On-site).
• Schedule: 40 hours per week.
• Term: Rolling.
