About the role#
The Quality Control Intern will support daily quality operations by assisting with administrative and operational projects. Working under the guidance of a Quality Control Manager, the intern will gain hands-on experience with quality systems, inspection documentation, and record management while working alongside professionals in a manufacturing environment.
What you'll do#
- Perform data entry for quality inspections and maintain organized records in compliance with quality standards.
- Assist with the inspection of calibrated tools to ensure they meet established requirements.
- Review inspection data and documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Communicate with production staff and external vendors regarding inspection and quality-related information.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Industrial Engineering.
- Basic understanding of inspection processes and the use of calibrated tools.
- Strong interpersonal skills to interface professionally with internal teams and external vendors.
- High attention to detail when reviewing documentation and data entries.
- Basic proficiency in data entry and recordkeeping systems.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, squatting, and bending, as required to capture inspection data.
