Mechanical Engineering Intern

About the role#

The Mechanical Engineering Intern will work on projects focused on the design and development of systems related to industrial power electronics. You will work alongside experienced professionals to gain hands-on engineering experience and observe how engineering teams collaborate to deliver results.

• Gain hands-on experience by working on mechanical engineering projects.
• Collaborate directly with engineers and professionals in a team environment.
• Develop professional skills under the supervision and guidance of experienced staff.
• Perform duties with a focus on safety, teamwork, and customer satisfaction.
• Manage your own workload and prioritize tasks to meet time-sensitive deadlines.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a Mechanical Engineering program at an accredited college or university.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Mechanical analysis experience and solid mechanical aptitude.
• Strong written, verbal, and listening communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment with personnel from diverse backgrounds.
• 3D CAD experience is a plus, with a preference for Pro/ENGINEER.

• Modality: On-site, 40 hours per week.
