Supply Chain Summer Intern

About the role#

As a Supply Chain Summer Intern, you will work under the leadership of a Supply Chain Manager to learn about manufacturing processes, operations, and product applications. This internship provides hands-on experience working alongside professionals on a variety of projects within a large-scale manufacturing environment.

What you'll do#

• Complete a Green Belt Project.
• Support procurement activities and sourcing tasks, including managing Requests for Information (RFI) and Requests for Quotes (RFQ).
• Evaluate new supplier qualifications based on delivery, quality, and cost metrics.
• Assist in the preparation of negotiation strategies.
• Identify cost savings opportunities within the current supply chain and analyze potential new supplier relationships.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Operations Management.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week on-site.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work well within a culturally diverse team.
• Willingness to work in a plant environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Foundational knowledge of procurement processes.

• Modality: On-site, full-time (40 hours per week).
