Supply Chain Summer Intern

About the role#

The Supply Chain Summer Intern will work under the leadership of a Supply Chain Manager to learn about manufacturing processes, operations, and product lines. Interns will gain exposure to real-world applications by working alongside professionals on various projects throughout the summer of 2026.

What you'll do#

• Perform a Green Belt Project.
• Assist Supply Chain Managers with procurement activities, including sourcing tasks like Requests for Information (RFI) and Requests for Quotes (RFQ).
• Evaluate new supplier qualifications based on delivery, quality, and cost.
• Support negotiation preparation and the development of negotiation strategies.
• Identify cost savings within the current supply chain and analyze potential for new supplier relationships.

What you'll need#

• Current pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Operations Management.
• Knowledge of procurement processes.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills with the ability to balance multiple projects.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work as a team player in a culturally diverse environment.
• Willingness to work in a plant environment.

Location & details#

• Location: Northwest Houston, Texas.
• Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, on-site.
• Term: Summer 2026.
• This is a paid internship. Please note that sponsorship is not available for this role.
