Site Services Intern

About the role#

The Site Services Intern will support the Facilities and Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) teams during Summer 2026. This role provides hands-on experience with facilities management, sustainability initiatives, and data governance within an industrial manufacturing environment. The intern will assist with high-impact projects designed to improve data integrity, operational compliance, and energy rebate recovery.

What you'll do#

• Assist with data migration projects for Facilities and EH&S systems, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
• Organize, validate, and standardize records and databases to improve long-term accessibility.
• Support the transition of legacy documentation into centralized or updated systems.
• Compile and maintain sustainability documentation, metrics, and supporting evidence.
• Track utility data, energy initiatives, and rebate documentation to assist in maximizing recovery opportunities.
• Maintain EH&S records to support regulatory compliance and internal audits.
• Review and update Facilities and EH&S policies, procedures, and work instructions to ensure version control and alignment with internal standards.
• Prepare project summaries, trackers, and status updates for project leaders.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Engineering, Sustainability, Business, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with data and documentation accurately.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive or confidential information responsibly.
• Ability to learn new systems quickly.
