The Mechanical Engineering Intern will work on projects involving the design and development of systems related to industrial power electronics. This role provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience while working alongside professional engineers in a team environment.
What you'll do#
- Gain hands-on experience by working on mechanical engineering projects.
- Collaborate with engineers and professionals to understand how systems are delivered.
- Develop technical skills under the guidance and supervision of experienced professionals.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Mechanical Engineering program at an accredited college or university.
- Proficiency with CREO or Solidworks and AutoCAD.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with Engineering BOM concepts and 3D modeling.
- Proficiency with MS Office suites.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work well in a culturally diverse team environment.
Location & details#
- Location: Northwest Houston, Texas.
- Schedule: Full-time (40 hours per week) on-site.
- Term: Rolling.
