About the role#
The LVD Applications Engineer Intern will act as a technical resource for customers, distributors, agencies, and the internal sales team. You will support the design, application, and performance of industrial products while developing your professional skills under the guidance of experienced engineers.
What you'll do#
- Provide detailed technology support and product troubleshooting to customers.
- Build 120V demos for customers and the sales team.
- Conduct competitor research.
- Collaborate with engineers and professionals in a team environment to understand how projects are delivered from design to completion.
- Develop technical skills through direct supervision and mentorship.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Technology program at an accredited college or university.
- Proficiency in Python and/or Java.
- Experience with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Visio).
- Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently.
- Ability to work as a team player in a culturally diverse environment.
Location & details#
- Location: Northwest Houston, Texas.
- Schedule: Ability to work 40 hours per week on-site.
- This is a paid, full-time internship.
