    About the role#

    Toshiba International Corporation is seeking an Electrical or Computer Engineering intern to support the development of standard micro PLC and HMI programs for packaged automation products. This role focuses on both technical programming and the creation of instructional content to support internal teams and customers.

    What you'll do#

    • Develop and test standard micro PLC and HMI programs for packaged automation products.
    • Create HMI screens, templates, and associated documentation.
    • Produce training materials, including PowerPoint presentations and video tutorials.
    • Assist the engineering team with hardware testing, troubleshooting, and program validation.
    • Support ongoing engineering projects through documentation updates and the creation of customer-focused technical materials.

    What you'll need#

    • Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
    • Proficiency in computer programming languages.
    • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a simple manner.
    • Familiarity with PLCs and control system concepts is considered an asset.

    • Employment Type: Full-time.
