About the role#
The Investment Analyst intern joins Tommy’s Express Capital, a division focused on corporate strategy and private funds. You will work on deals involving finance, investments, fundraising, and real estate development. This program provides hands-on experience and exposure to leadership across the organization.
What you'll do#
- Build and maintain complex financial models to analyze business cases and investor returns.
- Conduct research on industries, markets, and specific companies to support forecasts.
- Assist in developing financial models for asset acquisition and sale decisions.
- Draft pitch decks, investor communications, and presentations.
- Review legal documents including lease agreements and term sheets.
- Help identify and execute growth strategies and explore financing solutions for franchise partners.
- Collaborate with franchise development, real estate, and data teams.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to brainstorming sessions.
- Present your work to team members at the end of the internship.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Business.
- Strong academic record.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to adapt, solve problems, and think critically.
- High level of integrity and dependability.
- Initiative and a drive to identify and fill gaps.
Location & details#
- Location: Holland, Michigan.
- Term: Summer 2027 (mid-May through the first week of August).
- Modality: On-site, Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm.
- Status: Full-time and paid internship.
