About the role#
This internship offers a look into professional sales within the retail apparel industry. You will work with mentors to build skills in prospecting and client outreach. The program runs for 8 hours per week from September 21st to November 13th, 2026.
What you'll do#
- Book appointments with qualified leads over the phone.
- Serve as a sales development representative to find new selling opportunities.
- Learn the fundamentals of professional sales.
- Work with a team of local and nationwide interns.
- Receive guidance from experienced sales mentors.
- Participate in live Zoom corporate training and weekly small group calls.
What you'll need#
- You must be an active student at Michigan State University graduating by Summer 2027.
- A desire to develop real-life sales skills and a growth-oriented mindset.
- Ability to attend two in-person workshops on campus.
- Availability for weekly Friday live Zoom sessions.
- Preferred majors include Business Administration, Marketing, or Communications.

- This is a hybrid role based in East Lansing, Michigan.
- The position is paid at $15 per hour.
