About the role#
This Civil Engineering Internship is based in our Worcester, Massachusetts office. You will join the Site Civil Design Team to support infrastructure projects throughout the Northeast. The role is full-time for the Summer 2027 term and follows a hybrid work model.
What you'll do#
- Research, compile, and examine project-related data.
- Assist staff with various projects and field assignments.
- Perform computer-aided drafting tasks and create basic plans in AutoCAD.
- Perform engineering calculations under the direction of an engineer.
- Prepare written communications including emails, memorandums, field reports, and specifications.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Associate’s or Bachelor’s program for Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- At least two years of completed college-level coursework.
- Previous and relevant work experience.
- Intellectual curiosity and a desire to solve engineering problems.
- Flexibility, a positive attitude, and open-mindedness.
- Hands-on experience with design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or HydroCAD is preferred.
- Previous internship experience in engineering, design, or consulting is preferred.

- Term: Summer 2027.
- Compensation: $21.00 - $29.00 per hour, based on years of completed college education.
- Status: Paid, full-time, hybrid position.
