About the role#
As a Civil Design Intern in our Chamblee, Georgia office, you will gain hands-on experience by supporting land-development projects. You will work alongside experienced engineers and designers to contribute to residential, commercial, and industrial projects. This role is on-site and offers a flexible schedule to accommodate your academic commitments.
What you'll do#
- Prepare site-development plans for various project types.
- Support the design of water, sewer, and storm-drainage layouts and construction drawings.
- Help prepare permit packages and coordinate with regulatory agencies.
- Work with project managers and design teams on daily tasks.
- Use AutoCAD Civil 3D to support modeling and drafting efforts.
- Organize project documentation to help meet scope, schedule, and quality goals.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Interest in land development and site design.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD, with preference for Civil 3D exposure.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and organizational ability.
- Willingness to learn and work within a team.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks.
