About the role#
Walt Disney Imagineering is the creative group that designs and builds Disney theme parks, resorts, and attractions. This internship is a content development, production, and editing role based in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. You will support social media productions that align with business objectives while creating content for external and internal audiences. The internship runs from January 2027 to June 2027.
What you'll do#
- Support video and photo projects from conception to final delivery.
- Assist on-site shoots, including filming, lighting, and audio setup.
- Edit and enhance video content using various software.
- Manage edit requests and route final deliverables for approval.
- Keep production calendars and pipeline grids up-to-date.
- Archive finished projects for future use.
- Monitor social media trends to help develop creative strategies.
What you'll need#
- Experience with visual storytelling and producing social content.
- Proficiency with Adobe Premiere and Photoshop.
- Ability to set up video equipment, including cameras, microphones, and lighting.
- Enrollment in an accredited college or university as a junior or higher.
- Pursuing a degree in Communications, Marketing, Media Studies, or Graphic Design.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a group or independently.
- Comfort with physical demands, such as lifting up to 25 pounds of equipment and working outdoors.
- A writing sample included on your resume.
