About the role#
The Center for Global Engagement at The University of Tulsa is looking for a student worker to manage the front desk and provide administrative support. This position assists with daily office operations and helps coordinate events across campus. You will work on a part-time basis with a rolling schedule.
What you'll do#
- Greet visitors and direct inquiries to the right staff members.
- Handle general office tasks like filing, data entry, and photocopying.
- Design flyers, presentation slides, and other graphics.
- Provide occasional peer advising for students interested in study abroad.
- Set up and break down equipment for office and campus events.
- Manage other related tasks as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student at the university.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to manage your time well.
- Proficiency in Excel and Canva.
- Familiarity with basic office equipment and procedures.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Preference is given to those with previous experience in customer service, administrative work, or front desk roles.
- Familiarity with Teams is helpful.
- Prior participation in a study abroad program is preferred.

- This role is located in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
- The position is on-site.
- You must be able to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends if needed.
- The role may require standing for long periods and lifting light office supplies.
