About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for the Summer 2027 term. You will be based on-site in Beatrice, Nebraska, working with the Exmark division. The program runs from May 17, 2027, through August 6, 2027. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States, as we do not provide visa sponsorship.
What you'll do#
- Work with a multi-discipline team to qualify prototype machines before they enter production.
- Develop test plans and perform test setups, including instrumentation and fixturing.
- Analyze and document test results.
- Collaborate across business functions to understand team operations.
- Gain experience with tools such as LabVIEW, thermal imaging, modal analysis, accelerometers, sound measuring equipment, MATLAB, and Creo.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn new things.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks based on deadlines.
- Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), CAD software, and test instrumentation.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
