About the role#
The Toro Company is hiring a Tax Department Intern for the summer of 2027. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Bloomington, Minnesota. The program runs from May 17, 2027, through August 6, 2027. You must be available for the full duration of the program.
What you'll do#
You will join the tax department to assist with daily operations and specialized projects. Your work will support tax compliance, research, and planning efforts. Key responsibilities include:
- Federal and state tax compliance for income, sales, and use tax
- International tax compliance
- Tax research and planning projects
- Assisting with tax controversy matters involving the IRS and state authorities
- Accounting for income taxes
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a business-related degree program
- A graduation date no earlier than December 2026
- Interest in a career within business, finance, or accounting
- Strong leadership, time management, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to take initiative and work effectively in a team
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Previous tax coursework and experience with Excel are preferred
