About the role#
The Toro Company is hiring an Engineering Intern for our Exmark division in Beatrice, Nebraska. This is a full-time, paid summer internship running from May 17, 2027, through August 6, 2027. You will work on-site as part of a multi-discipline team to support the design and development of commercial mowing equipment.
What you'll do#
- Design and develop components and systems, including mechanical and electromechanical parts.
- Create product documentation using Creo solid modeling and manage print creation and the release process.
- Source, build, and evaluate prototype designs.
- Perform physical and FEA evaluations by collecting and analyzing data.
- Present your findings and results to the team.
- Collaborate across various business functions to understand the product development cycle.
What you'll need#
- You must be pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline at an accredited college or university.
- You should be entering your junior year or higher.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills are necessary to work with design, test, manufacturing, and marketing teams.
- Experience with off-road equipment is a plus.
- You must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

- Compensation: Paid internship with an anticipated pay range of $22.00 to $33.00 per hour.
