About the role#
The Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) team helps the company understand, manage, and anticipate risk. This includes traditional areas like financial, market, insurance, and operational risk, as well as emerging topics like cyber security and AI. As an intern, you will work on meaningful projects that have an impact on the business over the course of ten weeks. Successful interns may be offered full-time employment within the ERM organization upon graduation.
What you'll do#
- Build your knowledge of risk management and corporate skills through a weekly training series.
- Participate in collaborative events with ERM teammates and leadership.
- Complete a summer-long project that ends with a Capstone presentation to senior management.
- Develop professional skills through on-the-job learning and 1-on-1 mentoring.
What you'll need#
- You are a student expecting to graduate in January 2027 or May 2028.
- A GPA of 3.2 or higher.
- An interest in the field of risk management.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- A desire to work in a collaborative, team-based environment.
- Relevant majors include Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, English, Computer Science, or Industrial Engineering.

- This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2026.
- The role is based on-site in Hartford, Connecticut.
