About the role#
This internship provides an overview of the cosmetic industry combined with hands-on experience. You will manage high-priority projects that directly contribute to the success of the R&D function and the business. You will work alongside various teams and departments to understand how R&D fits into the broader organization.
What you'll do#
- Take ownership of projects that help the team reach its goals.
- Collaborate with multiple internal teams and functions.
- Participate in skills training and use research equipment.
- Attend networking events to connect with other departments and senior management.
- Share your ideas and findings with organizational leaders.
- Engage in mentoring sessions with experienced R&D professionals.
What you'll need#
- Current undergraduate junior status with an expected graduation date in May or June 2028.
- Major in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Plastics Engineering, Package Engineering, Chemistry, Biological Sciences, Polymer Science, Engineering and Management, or Materials Science.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Demonstrated leadership and project management skills.
- A results-oriented mindset with the ability to analyze and solve problems.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

- Location: Melville, New York.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Schedule: Full-time.
- Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $25.00 to $33.00 per hour, depending on skills, experience, and education.
