About the role#
WTVR is seeking motivated interns for the Fall 2026 term. This part-time, paid position offers hands-on experience in broadcast journalism. Interns work alongside professionals in a local news environment to gain practical insight into reporting, producing, digital content, and operations.
What you'll do#
- Gain exposure to the media production industry.
- Perform assigned duties related to the internship program.
- Develop professional skills based on the specific area you support.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- A strong desire to learn more about the media industry.
- The ability to work effectively within a team.
- The ability to follow directions.
- Availability for a limited-duration internship.
- Preferred academic backgrounds include Communications, Journalism, Media Studies, Sociology, or Psychology.
