About the role#
The Douglas Company offers a Construction Management Internship for the Fall 2026 semester. This position provides hands-on experience by assisting project managers, coordinators, and estimators with multi-million dollar construction projects. You will work on various phases of construction, from pre-construction to project completion.
What you'll do#
Your responsibilities span both construction and pre-construction operations. You will support the team with the following tasks:
- Assist with sub-contractor bid solicitations and financial reference checks.
- Create sub-contractor bid books, RFIs, and change orders.
- Update project schedules and assist with project scheduling.
- Obtain quotes for materials and services.
- Perform quantity take-offs.
- Research permit procedures based on project locations.
- Handle general project administration tasks.
What you'll need#
Applicants must be currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Construction Engineering Technology.
Location & details#
- Location: Holland, Ohio.
- Modality: This is an on-site, full-time position.
- Schedule: Typical hours are Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.
- Status: This is a paid internship.
