About the role#
As an Operational Risk Intern, you will gain exposure to how DTCC identifies, assesses, monitors, and manages operational risks. You will join the Operational Risk and Resilience team to help business units understand their risk exposures and support the resilience of critical processes. This is a 10-week summer experience that includes project work, training, and mentorship.
What you'll do#
- Support operational risk assessments, monitoring activities, and analysis efforts.
- Assist with developing and maintaining key metrics, dashboards, and management reporting to track risk trends.
- Produce and enhance reporting materials that support risk governance and decision-making.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities and process reviews to increase operational effectiveness.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to support risk initiatives and communicate findings.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Expected graduation date of Spring 2028.
- A minimum GPA of 3.2.
- Authorization to work permanently in the United States without sponsorship.
