About the role#
As an Application Developer Intern, you will help design, build, test, and enhance software applications that support our business processes and financial market systems. This 10-week summer program provides hands-on experience in a large enterprise IT organization. You will work on real business priorities, receive mentorship, and participate in training designed to build a foundation for your career.
What you'll do#
- Develop, enhance, test, and document software applications, features, and integrations under the guidance of experienced engineers.
- Translate business and process needs into technology solutions by partnering with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Participate in application design discussions, code reviews, Agile ceremonies, and backlog refinement.
- Support automation and modernization efforts to improve workflow efficiency and business processes.
- Assist with troubleshooting, defect resolution, and root-cause analysis to improve application quality.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or Management Information Systems.
- Expected graduation date in Fall 2027 or Summer 2028.
- Minimum GPA of 3.2.
- Foundational understanding of programming, software development concepts, data structures, databases, or web technologies.
- Authorization to work permanently in the United States without sponsorship.
