FamilySearch Project Management & Business Intelligence Intern

About the role#

This internship provides hands-on experience in project management and business intelligence within a collaborative team environment. You will support operational, analytical, and communication initiatives while gaining exposure to organizational strategy and team workflows.

What you'll do#

• Maintain and update SharePoint, Monday.com, and other team collaboration platforms.
• Organize project workflows, track assignments, and document deliverables.
• Coordinate work across cross-functional teams and assist with department communication efforts.
• Collect, clean, and organize data to support reporting needs.
• Maintain dashboards and KPI summaries using Excel or BI tools.
• Perform basic analysis to identify trends and document metrics or data definitions.
• Participate in planning sessions, workshops, and data reviews to prepare visual summaries for stakeholders.

What you'll need#

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Information Systems, Project Management, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Familiarity with SharePoint and project management tools such as Monday.com.
• Basic experience with data tools including Excel, Google Sheets, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with FamilySearch.org tools.

• Status: Full-time, paid internship.
• Eligibility: Must be currently enrolled in an educational institution or have graduated within the past year. Candidates must sign a Paid Internship Engagement Letter. Employment requires a current temple recommend.
